The CRUSADE must be sustained and pursued.  First there was the Civic Parade participation of REBAP Naga City CamSur last September’s Peñafrancia Festival campaigning for the advocacy IN DEALING WITH LICENSED Real Estate Brokers. Second, the two- day CPD for Real Estate Salesperson last October wherein the majority of participants were Salespersons of Sto. Niño Memorial Park. And third, was last November 9, 2018 wherein REBAP Naga City Cam Sur partnered with HLURB in conducting the first ever 1- Day Field-Filing of Registration of All Real Estate Practitioners at Robinsons Place, Naga City. The activity started from 10:00 in the morning until past 5:00 in the afternoon. The registrants, numbering more than a hundred, came from Camarines Sur and Camarines Norte.   One of the Real Estate Brokers who came all the way from Daet, Camarines Norte, CRB Ramon C. Reyes said that the event is highly commendable and it deserves to be institutionalized. Marjorie Lat, the Board Secretary of PAREB-NCRB and the Regional  Marketing Manager of Jamaica Realty said that the initiative was laudable because it welcomed everyone to avail of said service regardless if they belong to the same organization or not.Rltr Rosemarie Estrada a licensed real estate broker in Daet, Camarines Norte with 15 registered salespersons also expressed her gratitude: “My salespersons and I were thankful to HLURB and REBAP Naga CamSur for having the one-day filing of application for HLURB in Naga City. We are based in Camarines Norte and going to HLURB regional office in Legaspi and travel more than 4 hours is an inconvenience for us. The event enabled us to save time and effort for the registration. We hope REBAP Naga CamSur will again conduct this activity next year”

REBAP Naga City CamSur, President CRB Roi Marc Teodoro and all of the officers and members of the association supported this event.  As per President Teodoro, the association pursued this undertaking to assist fellow brokers and salespersons in lessening their expenses and the time spent had they have to go to HLURB Regional Office in Legazpi City to file/renew their registration. The Millennial President, as we call, CRB Roi Marc is even willing to extend more of his selfless service by asking the participants if they want to authorize him to receive their CORs once processed and released by HLURB in order for the applicants to still save time and money. And he will just inform the concerned brokers and salesperson to claim it from him. The event was also featured in a local tabloid – Bicol Mail.

The Association has been very grateful to its Chapter Secretary, CRB Joy Bisana, who initiated the event and has been generously rendering her services to the association. Some of the active officers and members of the association who were contributory to the success of the activity are CRB Sheila Salvo BOD, CRB Salve Bermudo, Treasurer and yours truly as the Press Relations Officer.  Wrapped up, the ONE- DAY FIELD-FILING FOR APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION/RENEWAL FOR 2019 is praiseworthy, highly commendable and must be continued by the next set of officers for 2019.
